As a Clinical Intake Specialist, you'll complete initial screenings and evaluations for individuals across the lifespan seeking mental health services. You'll establish initial treatment plans, provide provisional mental health diagnoses, make referral recommendations for relevant services, and engage in safety planning and brief therapy/bridge sessions as clinically appropriate. Our ideal candidate is passionate about mental health, has experience in behavioral health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders, and strong clinical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Complete initial screenings and evaluations for individuals seeking mental health services
Establish initial treatment plans and provide provisional mental health diagnoses
Provide referral recommendations for relevant services within the organization
Engage in safety planning and provide brief therapy/bridge sessions as clinically appropriate
Utilize experience and knowledge in behavioral health, substance use, and co-occurring disorders
Assist in welcoming individuals and facilitating engagement with services
Provide client-centered care and accurate documentation
Education and/or Experience Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
At least 2 years of relevant experience
Missouri state license as one of the following: PLPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, PLMFT, LMFT, PLP, or LP
