Overview

Basic Function: Ensure that all cars are inventoried into the system during scheduled shift. This position generally requires you to work an overnight shift (e.g. midnight - 8 AM).

Responsibilities

  • Perform the nightly License Plate Inventory (LPI)

  • Be prepared to act in the capacity of a cashier as and when directed

  • Provide accurate information to the public concerning all areas of airport parking operations and general airport information

Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education/Experience Required: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 3rd shift and/or week-ends may be a requirement.

License Requirement: The individual will only be required to have and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license, with a current address and acceptable driving record, if the individual is expected to be able to drive a company vehicle or drive on company business.

Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to customers and other employees of the company.

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, two digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money.

Appearance: Employees will be required to maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; and use hands to handle cash and equipment. The employee is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.

SUMMARY The primary purpose of the Materials Management Services Representative position is to provide support for the operations of all sections of Materials Management Services. This position impacts day-to-day operations of assigned areas and departments throughout the institution with respect to inventory and logistics of patient and research supplies, equipment and service. This position must also comply with all departmental, Q.I., safety, fire, JCAHO guidelines that apply to the Materials Management area. This position is expected to participate in in-house training in-services to gain information regarding new policies and procedures, to assure appropriate response to issues, to acquire or refresh skills or to enhance job performance. This position is required to perform housekeeping and maintenance functions not inclusive of those performed Environmental Services or Facilities Services both at the par level area or inventory location. Key Functions Logistics Area- Perform receipt of supplies, linen and/or equipment by checking merchandise against order documents. Document deficiencies, if any, and refer problem situations to appropriate personnel for resolution. Deliver all requests for supplies, linen, equipment and/or packages to assigned areas in a timely and appropriate manner. Drive regularly scheduled or unscheduled routes between buildings and deliver supplies, materials, and equipment; pick up, carry and deliver materials to specified locations. Complete Driver Log following each trip and notate all gasoline purchases. Operate materials handling equipment to include carts, pallet jacks, hand truck and ergo-tug. Warehouse Area - Daily operation of the shipping/receiving dock at decommissioned asset warehouse. Responsible safe operation of material handling equipment including forklift, pallet jacks. Assisting Asset Coordinator in tagging of new assets as needed. Clerical activities to include processing of receipts and transfers of assets from/to warehouse. Responsible for overall housekeeping of warehouse areas. Other duties as assigned Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm. Driving will be involved - must be able to pass a clear background check on driving record. The ideal candidate will also have directly related experience (logistics, warehouse, inventory, etc).
