Position Summary

The Library provides resources, services, and facilities to enhance the learning process at Isothermal Community College. The Library houses materials in print and non-print formats.

The Library also provides access to a growing number of online resources including eBooks, periodical articles, reports, statistics, primary source documents, and movies. The Library is a part of a local consortium and open to the community.

Library staff order, receive, catalog, and shelve books, audiovisuals, newspapers, magazines and journals, plus manage online resources, and assist college employees, students, and the general public in their use. Library staff also answer a variety of questions including basic directional questions, reference, and referrals; offer individual and group instruction; and provide assistance with a variety of equipment and software applications.
