San Bernardino County is recruiting for an innovative Library Program Coordinator to plan and administer specialized functions throughout the San Bernardino County Library system. The Library Program Coordinator will provide essential assistance to Library Administration by planning, developing and promoting system-wide Library programs to be presented to the community.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Work Schedule:These positions require regular weekend and evening work schedules.
Pre-Employment Process:Prior to appointment, applicants must undergo a background check, which includes fingerprinting and a medical exam.
Travel:Travel throughout San Bernardino County may be required. Employees will be required to make provision for transportation. At the time of hire, a valid California driver license and proof of automobile liability insurance must be produced for the individual providing the transportation, and must be maintained throughout employment.
Physical Requirements:Physical requirements of the position include the following: frequent reaching and bending; continuous walking and standing; continuous pushing and pulling; constant lifting of materials and books up to 25 pounds and frequent lifting up to 75 pounds.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: A completed Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in Business/Public Administration, Communications, Marketing, Child Development, Education, or closely related field.
EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience in any of the following developing and implementing community programs in a school, library, or recreation environment.
