This position is full-time (40hours/week) Monday- Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to workany of our 8 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (11:00amto 8:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasionalovertime or weekends. Our office is located at 10210 Windhorst Road, Tampa, FL33619.

Answer incoming phone calls per day from customers and identifythe type of assistance the customer needs
Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identifyspecific questions or issues while documenting required information in computersystems
Contact care providers (doctor's offices) on behalf of thecustomer to assist with appointment scheduling or connections with internalspecialists for assistance when needed
Assist customers in navigating UnitedHealth Group websiteswhile encouraging and reassuring them to become self-sufficient in using ourtools
Research complex issues across multiple databases and work withsupport resources to resolve customer issues and/or partner with others toresolve escalated issues
This role is equallychallenging and rewarding. You'll be called on to research complex issues acrossmultiple databases.
It requires fluency in computer navigation and togglingwhile you confidently and compassionately engage in dialogue with the caller. Beassured that our training will provide you with knowledge of the variousproducts, plans and levels of benefits available to members and you'll soon findyourself creating positive experiences and earning the gratitude of callers onan hourly basis.
High school diploma or GED OR equivalent workexperience
Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, whichincludes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer systemapplications
Demonstrated ability to listen skillfully, collect relevantinformation, build rapport and respond to customers in a compassionatemanner
Proficient conflict management skills to resolve issues in astressful situation
1 year of experience in a related environment (i.e. office,administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers asthe primary job tools
