Summary : Prepares and performs all Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant examinations and other Non-Destructive Testing within the scope of Avibank Process Procedure APP 107.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :.
Set up and calibrate testing equipment
Prepares parts for testing per documented standards
Generate and maintain in-house NDT procedures
Generate and maintain NDT technique sheets
Conduct audits of NDT test practices and equipment
Interprets inspection codes, standards and other contractual documents applicable to NDT and customer requirements
Trains lower level NDT Technicians in work procedures and methods

Education and/or Experience :
College, or university school program technical Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) and two years experience in Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle testing, OR 3-5 years experience in Liquid Penetrant and Magnetic Particle testing if no degree.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations :
Must be NDT Level III Certified per IAW APP-107 and NAS 410 and maintain certification through required renewal process.
