Description:Enterprise Operations supporting the Space IT Applications team is seeking a software engineer or applications developer with expertise in developing, deploying and sustaining in-house/COTS applications in a highly collaborative, high paced, high-energy environment. The candidate will participate in the entire application deployment lifecycle including requirements/design, implementation, and maintenance. Typical tasks include the following on classified networks:

  • Collaborating with the Application team members on issues related to the design, development and deployment of client oriented, mission-critical information and software systems.

  • Responsible for the development and deployment of new applications, systems software and/or enhancements and analysis to existing applications.

  • Creating, testing, deploying and maintaining custom software development tools for use by LM and third party customers and/or partners.

Must have the ability to obtain the necessary clearance. Work location is in one of the following: Littleton, CO, is preferred. However, the position is also open to Sunnyvale, CA and Valley Forge, PA.

Basic Qualifications:

  • TS/SCI Clearance with adjudicated CI Poly is required prior to start

  • Ability to obtain CompTIA Security + or equivalent certification within 60 days of start date.

  • Experience with SQL databases - Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, HANA, and their IDE

  • Experience with Visual Studio and code development (C#, .NET, MVC)

  • Experience working with infrastructure environments (compute, storage, network, database) with traditional or private cloud-based tools.

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Ability to learn technical skills quickly in a collaborative team environment

  • Track record of being a self-starter and strong independent contributor

  • Ability to manage priorities and requirements

  • Ability to establish strong team relationships and deliver exceptional customer service

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and DevOps concepts.

  • Experience with SAP Business Objects/Data Services

  • Experience with Microsoft BI (SSRS)

  • Experience with Internet Information Services (IIS).

  • Experience with containers, serverless computing and microservices as part of cloud application design

  • Experience with Windows Server/Linux administration (AD/root)

  • Experience with Java web applications running under Apache Tomcat.

  • IT relevant certifications

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $123,500 - $236,800 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

This position is incentive plan eligible.

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $142,100 - $267,600. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
