The Level 1 Desktop Support Analyst will join our growing team in Lombard helping support a variety of client projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to technical support tickets and assist in determining the nature of the technical issues, almost exclusively via remote access.

  • Identify and assist in the resolution of hardware, software, and/or networking issues.

  • Install new hardware systems, software upgrades, etc.

  • Provide technical and/or operational training as needed.

  • Document hardware configuration information, software configuration administration, network performance and network layouts.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience as a Desktop Support Analyst

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field or relevant experience

  • Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions

  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources

  • Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization

  • A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • LAN and WAN experience

  • Network security experience a plus
