Job Description
The DC Letdown Driver uses a forklift to perform all functions related to the replenishment process as assigned by the warehouse management system (EXE).
Responsibilities
Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work all scheduled shifts.
Comply with all applicable state health and safety codes.
Maintain clean and sanitary operating environment.
Operates powered pallet jack/forklift in accordance with OSHA and Whole Foods regulations to move product.
Abide by all safety regulations set forth by OSHA and WFM.
Reports all accidents and injuries to Team Leader or Facility Leadership immediately.
Ensures all product is secure and safe prior to letdown.
Properly maintains all equipment associated with the position.
Accurately performs letdowns as directed by the warehouse management system (EXE) and Shipping leadership.
Reports all issues regarding the letdown process to Inventory Control and Shipping Leadership.
Attend all team and facility meetings.

Attention to detail and thoroughness in approach with all paperwork
Experience working with an electric/motorized ride on standing pallet jack (either single or double) and forklifts
Experience with voice systems a plus
Team-player with positive attitude
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Able to work well with others, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with little supervision
Ability to deliver information in a clear and concise manner to fellow team members
Ability to comply with all WFM policies and procedures
Ability to complete all tasks in a thorough and timely manner
Working understanding of and compliance with all WFM quality goals, and thorough product knowledge
Demonstrates responsibility and accountability in recognizing and accomplishing all tasks where there is a direct job responsibility
High attention to detail and thoroughness in approach with all paperwork
Proper use of which may include but not limited to, safety knives, personal protective equipment, forklift, pallet jacks, hand trucks and all other equipment used within the Distribution Center.
Able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the store, including nights, weekends and holidays as required
Desired Work Experiences
Must be 18 years old
Some warehouse preferred
Experience working with an electric/motorized ride on standing pallet jack (either single or double) and forklifts
Experience with voice systems a plus
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand or walk at least 10 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to lift 50 lbs, Occasionally lift up to 70 lbs (team lift suggested for weights in excess of 70 lbs)
Work in a cold/wet storage facility environment (ranging from
10 (freezer) to 55 degrees Fahrenheit). General warehouse temps 34-46 degrees, Freezer
10 degrees
Regularly getting on and off powered equipment, stepping on and off throughout shift
Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
Ability to use tools and equipment, including safety box cutters, electric pallet jacks and voice equipment
Availability Requirements:
Average shifts are 8-10 hours long
Ability to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Team Members receive their schedule up to 3 weeks in advance
