Lending Product Manager-1806124
This person will be responsible for managing relationships with our strategic partners, including facilitating a formal due diligence process, obtaining new and existing product information and ideas and understanding the overall business. This person will be responsible for analyzing management reporting to understand gaps and opportunities for the firm and customers. This person will partner with Financial Consultants and Sales Management to develop strategies aimed at increasing participation in products and financial planning across the entire footprint. This will be accomplished through a consultative sales approach providing financial insight and product information via the telephone and in-person so FCs can effectively offer these products to clients. This position requires an individual that has a sales focus with excellent communication skills, work ethic and competitive drive to succeed.
Cultivate relationships with Financial Consultants and Sales Management to assist with product and financial planning engagement
Own Liquidity solutions including Securities based Lending and Margin.
Deliver education to Financial Consultants about Liquidity solutions including client value and all associated risks.
Facilitate a formal due diligence process to ensure our partners and products fall within our risk model
Identify and review new product opportunities to ensure we deliver a competitive product platform to our customers and sales team
Partner with internal colleagues in Compliance, Operations, IT and Risk to ensure we have the appropriate policies, procedures, workflows and oversight across the platform
Manage relationships to ensure we are given the appropriate support and training to drive sales across all product lines
Bachelor's degree in Business; Minimum of 10 years industry experience. 3 years product management
License/Certifications: Series 7, 63, 65/66. Life licensed
Ability to adapt to fast paced, changing environment.
Detailed understanding of the products to include annuities/insurance and mutual funds/unit investment trusts/managed accounts
Strong Consultative and negotiating skills.
Sales and management experience.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Team player with the ability to build deep relationships with internal and external partner
