This person will be responsible for managing relationships with our strategic partners, including facilitating a formal due diligence process, obtaining new and existing product information and ideas and understanding the overall business. This person will be responsible for analyzing management reporting to understand gaps and opportunities for the firm and customers. This person will partner with Financial Consultants and Sales Management to develop strategies aimed at increasing participation in products and financial planning across the entire footprint. This will be accomplished through a consultative sales approach providing financial insight and product information via the telephone and in-person so FCs can effectively offer these products to clients. This position requires an individual that has a sales focus with excellent communication skills, work ethic and competitive drive to succeed.

Position Duties:

  • Cultivate relationships with Financial Consultants and Sales Management to assist with product and financial planning engagement

  • Own Liquidity solutions including Securities based Lending and Margin.

  • Deliver education to Financial Consultants about Liquidity solutions including client value and all associated risks.

  • Facilitate a formal due diligence process to ensure our partners and products fall within our risk model

  • Identify and review new product opportunities to ensure we deliver a competitive product platform to our customers and sales team

  • Partner with internal colleagues in Compliance, Operations, IT and Risk to ensure we have the appropriate policies, procedures, workflows and oversight across the platform

  • Manage relationships to ensure we are given the appropriate support and training to drive sales across all product lines


Bachelor's degree in Business; Minimum of 10 years industry experience. 3 years product management

License/Certifications: Series 7, 63, 65/66. Life licensed

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Ability to adapt to fast paced, changing environment.

  • Detailed understanding of the products to include annuities/insurance and mutual funds/unit investment trusts/managed accounts

  • Strong Consultative and negotiating skills.

  • Sales and management experience.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

  • Team player with the ability to build deep relationships with internal and external partner

The Commercial Product Manager IV is responsible for managing several designated cash management products. The Product Manager IV position differs from the Product Manager I, II and III positions by complexity, risk and business/functional requirements of the products assigned, life cycle position of the products, and the amount of industry involvement and project management required of the incumbent. For assigned products, major responsibilities include: * Developing and executing strategic and tactical plans to meet market share and revenue goals, * Monitoring profit margin targets and managing revenue and expense drivers, including pricing, * Developing and rolling-out new products and enhancements to existing services, * Ensuring quality assurance and client contracts, * Providing ongoing product support and enhancing market visibility and * Participating in bank-wide conversion projects (e.g. bank acquisition and/or system conversion) * Additional Duties & Responsibilities: * Includes development of marketing collateral, service agreements, product training, client implementation, and internal/external communications * Oversees quality assurance for the assigned product(s) to ensure performance to profitability goals and client satisfaction * As required, participates in bank-wide conversion projects (e.g. bank acquisition and/or system conversion), * Monitors product revenue and expense, influences the drivers of revenue and expense to meet profitability goals of the assigned product(s) * Establishes price points and recommends unit prices * Researches and defines the product and technological requirements of clients, leads with Manufacturing, the development and testing of new products and enhancements to existing services, and initiates all product launch activities for the product(s) * Supports Corporate Banking Services Product Specialists when technical expertise is required * Provides ongoing product support for all business partners, conducts product training, participates in product packaging, promotion, and development of market * Establishes, executes, evaluates, and monitors the strategic direction of the assigned product(s), creates tactical plans, and develops appropriate funding documents for new products and major enhancements in collaboration with Team Leader and Director At Santander, we value and respect differences in our workforce and strive to increase the diversity of our teams.
