The Oregon Department of Justice is looking to hiring an experienced technical professional to work on our Litigation Technology Support Team providing services and operational support in litigation technology. This Legal Technology Analyst (Information Systems Specialist 4) position plays a critical role in delivering key services such as in house litigation technology support and is continuously looking for ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of litigation support activities such as achieving industry-standard practices for managing high-volume electronically stored information in litigation, educating stakeholders on litigation support best practices, and facilitating technology services in the courtroom. This role is a hybrid of remote work with an expectation to report to the Salem office several days a month for business needs. REQUIRED ATTRIBUTES AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Three (3) years of information systems experience in planning, designing, implementing, and supporting Business Intelligence tools. Education will be counted as experience if degree was in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or if a two (2) year accredited vocational training program was completed in information technology or related field.

  • Associate's Degree (or 2-year vocational training in an accredited training program in information technology or related field) = Two (2) Years experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree = Four (4) Years experience.

  • Master's Degree = Six (6) Years experience.

AND

  • Finalists must pass a comprehensive employment reference check and fingerprint-based criminal background check. A driver history check will be included for positions requiring state vehicle driving privileges. Adverse findings will be evaluated to determine eligibility for the position.

WHAT YOU WILL DO (in part)

  • Provide litigation technology support in-house and third party-based solutions in support of litigation technology software.

  • Evaluate, collect, analyze, and process data for litigation support cases in eDiscovery software platforms.

  • Provide support in person and remotely to meet technology support needs.

  • Work with technology team members to diagnose and resolve legal technology program system issues.

  • Support work requirements for legal team members for the proper collection, preservation, and production of electronically stored information.
