What You'll Do: In this Legal Specialist II position, you will work under the supervision of the Legal Office Manager and assigned Attorneys to provide support, case management, and documentation for litigated and non-litigated matters. In this position your duties will include, but not be limited to:

• Compiling and preparing medical summaries

• Preparing answers to written discovery responses

• Assisting in drafting motions

• Managing calendars and deadlines related to your assigned matters

• Requesting medical records

Flexibility is key as you will have other duties as assigned.

What It Takes to Join Our Team:

• Paralegal certificate/degree is preferred

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet multiple target dates/time deadlines

• Advanced computer skills utilizing Adobe Pro, Excel and Word

• Exceptional problem solving/analytical skills

• Excellent customer service skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills

• Must maintain and safeguard very confidential information

• Ability to work from our office in West Des Moines, Iowa
