Position Overview: The Litigation Legal Secretary will provide comprehensive legal and administrative support to multiple attorneys. This role requires a proactive, organized individual who can work independently while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
The successful candidate will excel in communication, time management, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage document production and file management Perform e-filing in administrative, state, and federal courts Draft, proofread, and edit legal correspondence Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and attorneys Maintain knowledge of court rules and civil procedures in state and federal jurisdictions Handle legal calendaring using Juralaw and other electronic court rule programs Coordinate multiple calendars, appointments, and travel arrangements Prepare travel and expense reimbursements Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Coyote timekeeping, and DMS (iManage) or similar software Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation secretary supporting multiple attorneys; knowledge of transactional law and administrative hearings is a plus
