SUMMARY: Reviews all necessary FCC and FAA compliance information before submission to customer compliance databases to ensure accuracy. Assists with procurement of required regulatory deliverables as necessary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following reflects management's definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned.   • Reviews all regulatory documents for accuracy and conformity with the client's requirements for submission into customer's regulatory database of record.

  • Performs necessary desktop NEPA/NHPA and FAA/FCC research as necessary to issue-spot and resolve complex regulatory issues.

  • Assists site acquisition specialists and project management with forecasting.

  • Procures required compliance deliverables from environmental vendors.

  • Background in real estate, compliance, or the telecommunications industry preferred.

  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Great attention to details.

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.

  • A self-starter and a quick learner.

  • Interest in the telecommunications industry.

Job Overview This position has four areas of focus: 1) Entity Management (regional and international), 2) management of the department's Budgeting and Billing, 3) preparation of Board Meeting materials, including resolutions and minutes, and 4) Special Projects as assigned. Responsibilities KMC has more than eighty subsidiaries worldwide, so Entity Management absorbs approximately 70% of the job, including support to the directors of various entities, as well as fielding one-off questions. Budgeting and Billing is a small but consistent part of the role, including processing invoices, obtaining project budgets for forecasting purposes, and helping the GC prepare the annual department budget. KMC Board Meetings occur three times a year, which the majority of activity occurring in the preceding month. Responsible for managing and maintaining all corporate records for KMC and its US and international subsidiaries. * Maintain solid working relationships with Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Finance departments, international locations, and outside counsel. * Control KMC's Legal Department invoice intake process and payment procedure. * Properly maintain entity management database to ensure accurate subsidiary records as well as timely filing of required governmental and other compliance reporting worldwide. * Draft/prepare proper documentation to form, maintain and/or dissolve entity structures in varied worldwide locations. * Participate as a team member on corporate initiatives with Legal, Tax, Treasury and Finance departments worldwide relative to subsidiary restructuring projects. * Maintain and distribute accurate KAC and KMC organizational charts. * Manage, track and prepare accurate reporting of KMC's Legal Department budget and spending. * Oversight and maintenance of several Legal Department annual budgets, forecasts and accruals ranging from $2M to $20M. * Preparation of legal transaction documentation that may range from thousands to millions of dollars. Education / Qualification * Bachelor's degree and minimum five (5) years prior corporate paralegal experience. * Experience tracking and managing corporate entity structures. * Experience preparing Board Meeting documents and materials. * General knowledge of accounting / finance, accruals and budgeting * High-focus and attentive to detail. Able to pursue and complete assignments / projects independently. * Ability to multi-task and to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interacting professionally with all levels of personnel. * Strong documentation skills, including proficiency with Microsoft O365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Teams) and Adobe Acrobat Professional. * Experience and acuity with data management programs (CT Corp, hCue, Legal Tracker, etc.). * Precise knowledge of registered agent services, translation services, and worldwide filing procedures.
