Legal Intern

Nouria Energy Corporation is a multi-generational family-owned wholesale fuel distributor, convenience store operator and car wash operator in New England. Our wholesale and retail fuel businesses are multi-branded, which includes Shell, Mobil, Irving, Sunoco, Gulf, Valero, Citgo, Phillips 66, Exxon, and multiple unbranded brands.

Our wholesale operations supply branded and unbranded fuel to 300+ locations across New England and New York. We are ranked within the top 50 largest convenience store chains in the country, operating 150+ company-operated locations throughout New England and ranked within the top 10 largest car wash chains in the country

Position Type

Paid Position, Part-time or Full Time, 2024 Summer Legal Paid Internship

Intern(s) will help develop/implement several projects, including UCC filing project, insurance certificate project, notice of lease project, minute book project, closing binder projects, and risk management projects. Hours will be flexible and may involve part-time work during the school year. The company is headquartered in Worcester, MA.

The Legal Department is responsible for all legal matters involving the enterprise, including its large portfolio of owned and leased real property.

Although these projects will be a substantial part of the internship, the intern will participate in most other legal affairs affecting the organization as they arise. This could include legal research, policy development, real estate transactions, day-to-day contracts, litigation, leasing, fuel distribution, permitting/licensing, collections, compliance, mergers and acquisitions, employment matters and corporate governance matters.

Applicants should be enrolled in Law School and have access to Worcester.
