P&G is seeking a hardworking and experienced attorney to join its Legal organization. Based on experience and background, placement of the selected attorney may be in one of the global business unit support roles, advising and counseling one of P&G's global business units on legal strategy and compliance with various commercial, advertising, digital and privacy laws, or one of the following specialty practice groups:

Trademarks, Patents, Labor & Employment, Global Transactions (including M&A support), Corporate, Securities & Employee Benefits Law, Antitrust, Litigation, Environmental, or Global Privacy & Digital Law. P&G attorneys work directly with clients to solve problems creatively and determine how best to manage the client's legal needs across critically important, as well as challenging and rapidly evolving, legal spaces. The position requires strong cross-team collaboration and coordination with business clients, multi-functional partners, and legal colleagues. The position is located in P&G's corporate headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio.


Requirements (skills / experiences) for the role:

A successful candidate must have: Prior legal experience with a law firm, in-house, government or other legal department (this can include an internship or clerkship). A J.D. with outstanding academic performance, with moot court, law review or judicial clerkships preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and very strong problem-solving skills.

Track record of success in professional and personal activities. Proven leadership as well as the ability to work as a member of a team, both with business clients and within the Legal organization. Membership in at least one state bar, with the ability to become a member of the Ohio bar.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Must be familiar with reviewing, drafting, and advising on a variety of business to business contracts (vendor/outsourcing agreements preferred). * Prepare review, negotiate and manage vendor contracts and outsourcing agreements, professional service agreements, technology agreements, and other agreements related to the operations of the Bank. * At the direction of Sourcing attorneys, work directly with Lines of Business and Sourcing Department to analyze contracts in response to LOB questions, and provide contract and research analysis. * Manage and analyze Vendor disputes and recommend dispositions. * Detail oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. * Experience at a regulated entity or industry preferred. * Performs Legal research. * Conducts fact gathering. * Drafts Legal documents of some Intermediate complexity. * Maintains and updates files. * manages Contract administration * Drafts correspondence. * May design, Develop and/or maintain department databases. * Performs duties at the following proficiency-level: * Performs routine assignments. * Develops competence by performing structured work assignments. * Uses Existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems. * receives instruction, guidance and direction from others. * Performs a variety of law-related tasks under the direction of the bank attorneys. * proactive surveillance of Regulatory changes to the environment SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: * Bachelors degree preferred. * Qualified in an American Bar Association approved curriculum; Earned a Certified Legal Assistant designation or has passed the Paralegal Advanced Competency Examination. * 2-4 years of experience after Paralegal qualification. * Demonstrates Excellent organizational, communications and time management skills.
