Personal Injury Attorney Responsibilities: Strategize optimal approaches for case resolution, prioritizing client satisfaction and cost-efficiency.
Analyze discovery documents to tailor strategies for each case, ensuring favorable outcomes. Conduct comprehensive depositions and oral hearings for witnesses and experts, ensuring thorough case preparation. Engage in direct client communication to understand and address their legal needs and concerns effectively.
Prepare and file all necessary legal documents for caseload management (averaging 150 cases). Supervise and mentor a team of two paralegals and collaborate to compile thorough case briefs for trial preparation. Manage a regular schedule of hearings, court appearances, and conferences as dictated by case requirements. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury law.
Active licensure in New Jersey. Proficient in negotiating settlements with insurance carriers and handling property damage claims. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite and familiarity with Case Management and Document Management systems.
Demonstrated ability to multitask and maintain organizational efficiency. Experience with trial proceedings. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Possesses attributes of teamwork, collaboration, and confidentiality. Willingness to travel for court appearances. Fluency in Spanish/English preferred.
