Legal Counsel

Duvera’s client, a premier and rapidly growing real estate development and construction company has an immediate need for Real Estate Counsel in Houston. Will consider relocation for those with Texas law experience which is required.

Florida law experience a plus. We've placed another real estate counsel and two real estate paralegals on this team and they've all been busy and happy This position is open due to continued growth Essential Duties and Responsibilities · Draft, review and negotiate various contracts, land acquisition documents, and transactional documents that meet the Company's risk tolerance and other standards. · Perform due diligence and prepare any documents related to transactional needs of land acquisition and development process. · Lead, develop and mentor a team of experienced paralegals Qualifications · JD from accredited law school and current law license from the State Bar of Texas. · Minimum 5 years of experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating real estate contracts in law firm or in-house legal department. The company is offering a competitive base salary plus bonus and proven stability despite the real estate market.
