Job Summary
Legal coordinator reporting to Development Services Manager. Responsible for acting as a point of contact for facilitating administrative solutions between departments such as real estate/legal and landlords/tenants/vendors; maintaining the legal databases utilized in the department.

Role and Responsibilities
Correspondence preparation, including assisting with preliminary review of SNDAs and Estoppels, along with review of other documents related to real estate and development, on an as-needed basis
Performs research related to real estate transactions and acquisitions, including entity, property and parcel searches utilizing county GIS maps, Landgrid, the Secretary of State website, and County websites.
Oversees, order, track and circulate diligence reports following the execution of Letters of Intent
Oversees and track status on post-closing checklist including tracking deadline of holdbacks and following up with sellers for remaining post-closing items
Assist and/or facilitate insurance certificates, as well as other miscellaneous real estate administration requirements
Ensures data integrity and accuracy by performing quality control review of work
Oversees reports with information related to SNDAs and other recordable documents, including maintaining a tracking report of important dates related to document recording
Preparation of emails to seller/seller counsel/lender on our outstanding post-closing items, such as tracking recordings, original signatures and/or DOT/lien releases
Assist with tracking status of Lease Commencement Agreements from Construction Reports and Accounting
Assist with filing and mailing legal documents
Assist counsel with upcoming real estate closings, including preparing and assembling closing and post-closing packets including distribution to appropriate parties
Ability to collaborate successfully with lease administration, accounting, tax, and integration departments
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in related field
1-2 years' administrative experience, legal preferred
Proficient in MS Office
Ability to multitask
Must be detail oriented
Must maintain professional demeanor and confidentiality
