Job Overview:

Perform functions to manage and coordinate activities related to the administration of all client legal contracts, within the limits of standard or established policies.

The Legal Contract Manager is a Hybrid position that sits out of our Broward County office.

Your Responsibility:

  • Generate Legal contract and Legal addendum proposals, in accordance with policies, legal requirements, and legal contract specifications, with a high degree of accuracy and within established timeframes.

  • Provide guidance and address contractual queries and requirements with internal and external contacts. Ensure queries are handled properly, accurately, and in a timely manner.

  • Review legal contract modifications and proposals for completeness, compliance, and accuracy. Ensure compliance regarding the organization's approval policies and procedures.

  • Monitor performance and manage incoming legal contracts and outgoing proposals and revisions and related activity within the department.

  • Maintain and update information in computer databases for new, existing and lost clients, as per established legal contract management procedures, with a high degree of accuracy and within established timeframes. Update database records as necessary when information changes. Create charts or spreadsheets to track or detail information.

  • Review and accept or deny changes to legal contracts and coordinate with General Counsel and client's counsel as needed.

  • Coordinate collection and preparation of operating reports, such as outstanding legal contracts reports, legal contract expirations, legal contract analysis reports, etc.

  • Serve as main contact and resource for computer system related to legal contract management. Work with IT on testing for contract management software revisions.

  • Supervise the daily functions of legal contract management while maintaining standards of excellence for processes, methods and personnel. Work with upper management to develop goals and communicate established goals with assigned employees. Ensure the goals and needs of the department, company and its customers are consistently met.

  • Oversee the quality control of all transactions processed by assigned team to maximize productivity, minimize duplicate work and to ensure quality product is delivered and in conformance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Review the work of the assigned staff and ensure proper approvals are obtained. Ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner and prioritize, delegate and approve work as necessary. Provide leadership and direction and assist in the investigation and resolution of internal and external problems and concerns.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and three to five years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Conduct business at all times with the highest standards of personal, professional and ethical conduct.

  • Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules. Notify supervision of unusual equipment or operating problems and the need for additional material and supplies.

  • May participate in any variety of meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems and maintain specified level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing the work.

  • Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.

  • Perform any range of special projects, tasks and other related duties as assigned

Supervisory:

  • Supervise Legal Contract Management Specialist, if any.

As a full-time exempt associate, you will be eligible for full comprehensive benefits to include your choice of multiple medical plans, dental, and vision. In addition, you will be eligible for time off benefits, paid holidays, and a 401k with company match. Occasional travel may be required to attend training and other company functions.

Compensation: $80,000.00 - $82,000.00 annually
