Hybrid position

Salary: $60,000 - $70,000/yr.

Billing and Collections Specialist essential tasks:

• Responsible for preparing and reviewing invoices in customized formats as specified by clients and Billing Attorneys.

• Monitors aging of client fees and accounts receivable for assigned attorneys, collaborating with them to address overdue fees.

• Coordinates billing and collection efforts with Billing Attorneys on behalf of the accounting department, ensuring adherence to client budgets and billing deadlines.

• Engages with clients regarding billing inquiries and deadlines, while gathering and analyzing billing data for reports and statistical purposes.

• Ensures accuracy of billing/payment information and compliance with client guidelines and firm policies, while also undertaking special projects and ad hoc requests from Billing Attorneys and supervisors as required.

Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of legal billing experience, must have 3E experience, bachelor's degree preferred.
