Job Summary and Qualifications

The Legal assistant will support up to four hospital operations counsel with focus on attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs secretarial duties that require knowledge of legal procedures and terminology

• Prepares documents and correspondence such as contracts, letters, electronic transmittals and scheduling correspondence

• Pre-screens contracts

• Prepare document comparisons (i.e. redlines) and analyze distinctions

• Advanced familiarity with PowerPoint and the ability to create appealing presentations

• Proficient in Word, Outlook and WebEx

• Maintains files and calendars, schedule appointments, schedule meetings, and make travel arrangements and submit expenses related to the same

• Willingness to learn and become proficient in company-utilized computer systems and programs

• Performs other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree preferred

5 years of relevant experience required
