Legal Assistant

Dietz, Gilmor & Chazen, an established and progressive California workers’ compensation defense law firm is seeking to hire a full-time, experienced Legal Assistant for our office in Santa Ana. The ideal candidate is organized and highly motivated, with at least three years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in workers' compensation defense.

Desired Qualifications: Understanding of workers' compensation rules and procedures Ability to calendar events and manage deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and EAMS Civil/subrogation experience is a plus Familiarity with cloud-based case management systems/MerusCase Management a plus Leadership experience a plus Effective organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills At least 3 years of experience working as a legal assistant, preferably in workers’ compensation or insurance defense
