A Legal Practice Assistant is currently needed for a Direct-hire position in Wilmington, DE!
Since it was founded in 1928, our client company has been providing legal services that are of the highest standards in the industry.
They have several offices on the East Coast as well as Texas, with their 135 attorneys practicing in a variety of different legal areas. They have represented hundreds of clients and never shy away from difficult cases.
The Legal Practice Assistant is responsible for helping attorneys with their workload as well the firm as a whole.
This position offers full-time hours and a yearly salary of $38K to $43K!

Responsibilities of the Legal Practice Assistant include:
Supporting members of the firm, associates, and paralegals in the areas of Bankruptcy and Corporate/Commercial Litigation.
Working directly with attorneys to prepare, review, edit, and file case pleadings.
Assisting attorneys with case projects.
Maintaining the case calendar.
Maintaining case files.

Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of legal experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized and able to prioritize and multitask
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Adobe
Flexible and adaptable to business needs, including working overtime
Knowledge of FileSite, PowerPoint, and Federal and State Court Electronic Filing a huge plus!

They will provide clarity to the team in their daily work in providing leadership to the team, especially when the Team Lead is not available. The Assistant Team Lead will be a productive member of the team and will also assist with training, mentoring, management, and administrative duties in partnership with his/her Team Lead. Assistant Team Lead will provide input to the Team Lead on team workflows and team member management along with customer communication as necessary. An Assistant Team Lead should understand and support the mission, vision and goals of the organization. As a member of the management team they will be assisting the Team Lead with short and long term management objectives, it is required that certain information be kept confidential and that appropriate professional behavior is always demonstrated while continually conveying a positive and supportive demeanor * The Assistant Team Leader will train team members on searches, execute filings, document management, and monitoring as well as perform searches on a daily basis. They will be in with workflow 20 -- 30 percentage of the time. * Maintain knowledge of the CLS service offerings, procedures, processes, methodologies and delivery options as well as jurisdictional requirements. They will demonstrate their knowledge by explaining to customers, team members and/or vendors to complete order fulfillment requests and problem resolution. * Provide guidance and make informed and timely decisions in order to meet and exceed client expectations and requirements. * Analyze; document workflow to make recommendations on how to improve customer satisfaction, customer retention, efficiency, revenue growth, cost savings and financial results. * Assist customers, team members and/or vendors with training on products, jurisdictional requirements and company databases. * Ensure there is a strong focus with the team on attention to detail as well as maintaining high quality work at all times.
