Overall Responsibilities:

Senior Project Manager primary responsibilities are the tactical delivery of the assigned projects including scope, cost, and schedule. Senior PM will provide expertise in recommending, influencing, and facilitating organizational, business and process change throughout the enterprise by applying appropriate change management tools and techniques. The Senior PM is expected to manage multiple projects of moderate to high complexity requiring advanced PM skills with consistent use of independent judgement and discretion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for schedule management, budget control, vendor/contractor management, determining return on investment (ROI) justification, team morale, change control, and validation.

• Develop project plans and schedules that represent the appropriate level of detail and task inter-dependency.

• Develop and document high-level strategies for achieving specific objectives or activities (hierarchical strategy, process flow, final project summary, etc.).

• Mange change and/or conflict within any project in an effective, timely, and appropriate manner.

• Professionally communicate verbally with a broad spectrum of audiences, ranging from outside contractors to internal senior level executives.

• Project responsibilities include defining scope, objectives, identifying resources, building timelines, and creating project documentation to meet established project goals.

• Responsible for project risk management (scope, schedule, costs, quality). Take necessary steps to communicate, mitigate and develop contingency plans for identified risks.

• Integration of Multiple 3rd Party Vendors. 3rd Party Vendors or Subcontractors may have scope critical for the overall delivery of the objectives.

• Closely monitors and tracks project activities to ensure project is adhering to agreed timelines. Monitors performance and makes recommendations.

• Prepares project status reports and regularly communicates and presents project status updates to management.

• Facilitate and lead effective meetings.

• Continuous evaluation and assessment of project status and required next steps.

• Ability to use Project Management Tools and Principles to ensure completion of projects according to established goals.

• Computer application skills in MS project and timeline preparation and maintenance and MS Office.

Characteristics and Skills:

• PM experience in web portal launches preferred.

• Experience in UX/UI design methodologies.

• Partnerships across Business, IT, and Customers for joint solutions.

• Experience with planning/tracking and interdependency tools (ex-MS Project).

• Familiarity with implementing complex IT/software based technical projects as a plus.

• Needs good business acumen.

• Senior level project manager experience on large scale and risk project.

• Familiarity with project management processes such as critical path or agile.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

• Ability to work independently and in a demanding environment.

• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.

• Ability to transfer into a longer-term transformation role within LEER or JBPCO.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• This position currently manages no subordinates.

Educational and other requirements:

• Should have delivered at least 2 full cycle successful projects.

• Should have strong project management experience.

• Valid driver license and Passport.

• Up to 50% travel

• PMP or Scrum Certification is a plus.
