The Department of Education invites applications for a non-tenure-track teaching position in Education, from August 15, 2024 through May 15, 2025. Salary and rank commensurate with experience and qualifications. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching a 4-4 load of introductory and upper-level courses in Westminster College Education department and will play a vital role in enriching our students' educational experience.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Education: An earned Master's degree in Education or related field. Doctorate in Education or related field preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience teaching in a pk12 or Higher Education setting.
Experience: Certification or specialization in LETRS training, mathematics instruction, or special education. The applicant should also demonstrate an understanding of teaching at a liberal arts institution, a desire to work with undergraduate students, and a willingness to be a member of a collaborative and collegial faculty.
Skills:
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective instruction.
Strong knowledge of curriculum development and assessment practices.
Effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.
Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology.
