The Department of Mining Engineering and Management (MEM) at the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology invites applications for a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer for the Fall 2024 semester. This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefited position.

An earned PhD in Mining Engineering or a closely related field and excellent communication and English skills, both verbal and written, are required. The ideal candidate will have practical industry experience in mining engineering or a closely related field and a strong background in one or more of the following mine ventilation, Bulk Materials Handling and blasting. Expectations will include teaching both undergraduate and graduate level courses. The position may continue semester-by-semester, dependent upon performance, department need, funding, and student enrollment.
