Description & Details:

Full-time temporary (9-month) academic appointment lecturer (August 16, 2024 - May 15th, 2025). The contract may be renewed subject to performance and availability of funds. Teaching responsibilities will include up to four course offerings per semester in the economics and agricultural economics programs in the fall and spring semesters, depending on the department's needs.

Advertised Salary:

Commensurate with experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • M.S. degree or ABD in Economics or Agricultural Economics.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills,

  • Teaching experience, including serving as a teaching assistant.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Economics, Agricultural Economics, or Related Fields,
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in post-secondary classroom teaching,
  • Experience teaching online,
  • Knowledge of U.S. agriculture and agribusiness.
