Lecturer In Occupational Therapy (One-Year Fixed Length)

Statement of Job:

The University of Southern Maine's Occupational Therapy Department is seeking applicants for a one-year fixed-length lecturer position for the 2024-2025 academic year.

This is a one-year appointment to teach four courses each semester (Fall/Spring) in the lecturer's area of occupational therapy expertise. Courses will be at the masters and doctoral degree levels. Successful applicants will demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence in their discipline to join a team of faculty in a growing department with a vibrant student body and warm community.

The Occupational Therapy Department located at the University of Southern Maine's Lewiston-Auburn campus in Lewiston, Maine's second largest city, located on the Androscoggin River.

This is an on campus and/or online teaching position depending on course requirements and semester workload that will pay an annual salary of $58,261.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree (Doctoral degree preferred but not required).

• Licensed occupational therapist in Maine.

• Teaching experience is preferred but not required.
