Job Summary
Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering at Purdue University invites applications for a Lecturer position to support instruction on the Indianapolis campus (www.purdue.edu/campuses/indianapolis/). This is a full-time, academic year, non-tenure track position at the Indianapolis location, effective Fall 2024. The position is renewable based upon satisfactory performance review, staffing needs, and funding. The successful candidate will be expected to provide instructional support for the Weldon School's program by teaching courses from the Biomedical Engineering curriculum and contributing to ongoing course development.
The position includes the following duties:
Education
Candidates for the position must have completed a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or closely related field by the position start date. Evidence of teaching effectiveness is required. In addition, successful candidates will have demonstrated skills in innovative pedagogical techniques and project/problem-based learning.
