Job Title: Leave Unit Specialist - Human Resources
Provide payroll information to FMLA/LOA/PFL/Workers' Comp vendors for BU and NBU employees. Provide guidance on Paid/Unpaid leave policies and procedures to employees and managers; investigate and resolve employee inquiries utilizing knowledge of FMLA/PFL hospital policies and procedures and/or Collective Bargaining Agreements; audit sick/sick savings balances (7 consecutive sick days report) during preliminary payroll; calculate LOA payouts.
High school diploma or GED equivalency required.
Knowledge and understanding of HR policies and procedures,
Knowledge of Oracle HR/Payroll system,
Advanced Excel knowledge,
Strong analytical and mathematics skills,
Excellent communication and customer service manners/attitude.
