THE POSITION
The assignment is to teach high school students various courses within the Social Studies Department.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
1.New Jersey Teacher of Social Studies Certification required.
2.Experience teaching at a secondary level is preferred.
3.Strong interpersonal, team building and communication skills.
4.Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident/immigrant status.

Teaching experience preferred, but not required.
Demonstrated knowledge in subject area.
Familiarity with use of technology as instructional tool.

JOB GOAL(S)
To provide instructional leadership in the classroom in accordance with the course of study approved by the Board of Education approved curriculum.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Implements instruction to meet the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
