THE LEASING MANAGER POSITION:
REM's Leasing Manager acts as the property's personal Sales Ambassador, responsible for coordinating the property's leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals. Our Leasing Managers achieve 100% occupancy by performing all activities related to leasing to new residents, providing resident satisfaction throughout the term of the lease, and securing resident lease renewals.
LEASING MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist Community Manager in the achievement of leasing goals by overseeing all functions necessary to close a sale, including; making appointments, generating new leads, conducting tours, maintaining showrooms, and any follow-up necessary.
Assists with the training and management of part-time sales and leasing staff to effectively sell residents on leasing units.
Ensure staff leasing techniques are effective in obtaining closure and facilitates coaching on areas needing improvement.
Acts as Brand Ambassador, projecting a favorable image within the community by attending campus events and City functions in order to achieve property objectives by increasing property interest.
Place customer needs as a top priority throughout the leasing process and term of the lease.
Welcome prospective residents and act as a point of reference for follow-up questions upon the completion of their tour.
Meet yearly renewal goals by assisting the Marketing Team and Community Manager with the deployment of community events and activities for current residents.
Process and organize all leasing documents through Entrata Leasing System, to ensure resident is cleared and approved for move-in and all required paperwork is signed and turned in.
Assists with new resident orientation to property (i.e. turn over keys, reviews property rules, regulations and procedures, point out mailboxes, and review amenities, etc.
Adheres to standards and complies with: corporate procedures, government laws on Fair Housing, and all inspections of the facility
LEASING MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS:
An outgoing, bubbly personality - a must!
2+ years of a successful track record in sales, required - preferred experience within leasing
Bachelors Degree, preferred
Prior experience in real estate/housing industry a plus
Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve conflict without micromanagement
Ability to work as a team player
Professional demeanor providing exceptional customer service
Excellent communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills
