The Leasing Manager - Home Furnishings is responsible for maintaining occupancy in showrooms by performing leasing duties including managing account base of new and renewal leases.
Perform leasing duties including managing account base of new and renewal leases.
Prospect and cold call using competitive markets, identified industry databases, and assigned accounts.
Input and manage all leasing contacts and prospecting activity into IMC's CRM system.
Provide input and reports to management as requested and needed.
Work closely and professionally with all departments to achieve mutual company goals and objectives.
Utilize creative negotiating and structuring of pricing to achieve corporate average effective rate.
Assume ownership of occupancy and floor merchandising to maintain critical companies and synergy of lines important to buyers and other tenants.
Acquire market intelligence.
Analysis of lease terms, lease rates, and lease duration in associated competitive markets.
Three (3) to five (5) years directly related home furnishings or sales management experience.
Excellent negotiating, communication and presentation skills.
Excellent math and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate choices and/or options immediately.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects while maintaining timely responsiveness to business needs and customer demands.
Customer service orientation to develop and maintain tenant / exhibitor relationships.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
