The Leasing Manager - Home Furnishings is responsible for maintaining occupancy in showrooms by performing leasing duties including managing account base of new and renewal leases.


  • Perform leasing duties including managing account base of new and renewal leases.

  • Prospect and cold call using competitive markets, identified industry databases, and assigned accounts.

  • Input and manage all leasing contacts and prospecting activity into IMC's CRM system.

  • Provide input and reports to management as requested and needed.

  • Work closely and professionally with all departments to achieve mutual company goals and objectives.

  • Utilize creative negotiating and structuring of pricing to achieve corporate average effective rate.

  • Assume ownership of occupancy and floor merchandising to maintain critical companies and synergy of lines important to buyers and other tenants.

  • Acquire market intelligence.

  • Analysis of lease terms, lease rates, and lease duration in associated competitive markets.


  • Three (3) to five (5) years directly related home furnishings or sales management experience.

  • Excellent negotiating, communication and presentation skills.

  • Excellent math and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate choices and/or options immediately.

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects while maintaining timely responsiveness to business needs and customer demands.

  • Customer service orientation to develop and maintain tenant / exhibitor relationships.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear. The team member frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

We have an open Area Manager (AM) sales position in our Capital Equipment Group that we can fill in the Southeast or Mid-Atlantic areas. The AM is an individual-contributor sales production role responsible for generating and managing equipment finance & leasing business with middle-market and large corporate companies. The AM works with U.S. Bank Relationship Managers (bankers) to identify, transact, and close equipment finance & leasing opportunities within the bank's customer base. In addition, the AM will diligently prospect and develop direct financing relationships with non-bank clients. The AM records call activity and manages opportunities through our Salesforce CRM. AM responsibilities include working cooperatively with internal functional support staff in pricing, asset management, credit, tax, legal, and documentation to facilitate $1MM to $100MM transactions from beginning to end.
