Objective

FirstLease, Inc. is seeking an experienced Underwriter/Credit Analyst to underwrite Commercial Equipment Leases from $5000 - $100,000.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team setting.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Obtain business and personal credit reports

  • Review and validate information included on bank statements, financial statements and third party credit reports

  • Analyze bank statements and vendor invoices for authenticity and accuracy

  • Validate business existence through online search engines

  • Determine missing components of application package for follow-up with Sales department

  • Review credit data, analyze sources of financial information such as Dun & Bradstreet, Credit Bureau (Experian, Trans Union, and Equifax), Paynet and related commercial bureau reports to render a sound credit decision

  • Responsible for evaluating and recommending credit decisions for commercial lease applications according to credit policy standards in a timely and accurate manner

  • Ability to analyze for profit business, non-profit business and personal tax returns

  • Convey credit decisions in a clear and concise matter to individual Sales Rep(s)

  • Daily responsibilities will require face to face interaction with the individual Sales Rep(s) and Manager(s)

Knowledge - Skills & Abilities

  • Bachelor Degree preferred and/or 1 to 3 years experience as a Credit Analyst.

  • Experience reviewing and analyzing bank statements, financial statement, tax returns, and third party credit reports

  • Equipment with leasing experience preferred

  • Excellent PC skills

  • Must be self-motivated and detailed oriented with strong interpersonal, communication and organization skills

  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, with a strong focus on attention to detail in a high tempo environment

  • Sound judgment and decisiveness

S/he will manage our promotional campaign data and support our sales, project management, and client services teams by defining and fulfilling data requests. S/he will also manage the quality and consistency of our promotional and delivery data by executing procedures to clean and standardize that data. <br></p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong><strong>:</strong></p><p>Including, but not limited to the following:<br></p><ul> <li>Support the day-to-day data needs of internal clients by performing database queries, list matches, reporting, and general analysis of campaign and subscriber data.</li> <li>Identify and address data quality problems by eliminating duplicates and standardizing data sets.
