A day in the life

As a Leasing Coordinator, you will be an integral part of the Mid-Atlantic Leasing Team, helping with the planning and execution of a wide variety of projects and processes. These will include coordinating communication and reporting among different lines of business including leasing, marketing, property management, accounting, maintenance, construction, valuations, development, and capital deployment. Responsibilities include working closely with the Market Officer and Leasing Team on various reporting tasks, communicating take-aways and responsibilities from various meetings, and streamlining processes among business lines.

You will be part of a Team that strives to provide best-in-class service to customers in our 19 million square feet of industrial buildings in the Maryland, DC, and Virginia markets. With an emphasis on customer service, quality buildings, and continuous improvement, we have an entrepreneurial culture in the local office with the support and sophistication of a large international company.

Key responsibilities include:

  • The ability to adapt to change and willingness to take on new company initiatives, campaigns or system upgrades with proven adoption and navigational skills while maintaining the most positive attitude.

  • Create, maintain, grow, and foster quality relationships with internal Prologis groups, vendors, brokers, and customers while developing an in-depth understanding of these parties (their business, strategies, and trends that impact them) to enhance the customer experience and improve leasing processes.

  • Must be able to use technical tools (ex: SalesForce, Peoplesoft, Yardi) to gather data/metrics and develop insights among various business lines, such as work with Leasing to gather lease comps, Leasing and Property Management to gather customer insights, Leasing and Capital Deployment to gather sale comps.

  • Provide support to the Leasing Team with the entire lease cycle from start to finish including portfolio characteristics, lease proposals, lease documents (leases, amendments, license agreements), listing/co-brokerage agreements, Essentials opportunities, and construction projects.

  • Support Market Officer, Leasing Team, and Director of Property Management by generating various reports, quality checking data/reports, tracking tasks and streamlining processes.

  • Support the Team as needed and other duties as assigned.

Building blocks for success

Required:

  • Proficient in lease analysis and lease administration skills or ability to develop those skills within 6 months.

  • Strong financial reporting background to ensure budget and financial goals are met for the portfolio.

  • 0 to 3 years of industrial/commercial real estate experience recommended with willingness to learn

  • Must be able to work well with internal partners (leasing, marketing, property management etc.) as part of an integrated customer service team

Hiring Salary Range of: $32.70-$38.50/hour. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target) to be determined by the candidate's location, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
