Banner Health's Real Estate department has a strong and growing regional portfolio within the largest employer in the state of Arizona. This is a very busy team that currently manages over 500 leases in the system and we anticipate the addition of 25 additional leases in the near future.
The Leasing Associate supports the Director of Leasing and Lease Administration. This position works directly with the leasing team and will be responsible for tracking of lease documentation through the legal process to input into the system. They will also serve as the liaison with the legal, central accounting and development and construction departments.

This position works directly with the team to ensure that rent payments are collected and accurately recorded into the database. This position will be responsible for input, maintenance and tracking of all residential and periodic leases in the system, ensuring that all data from the leases are accurately abstracted and key dates tracked. Liaison with the legal department senior contracts coordinator to ensure the LMS and Harbor Flex mirror information in order to process payments timely, and have accurate monthly notices from the LMS.
Responsible for all income leases and processing of monthly rent statements. Collects rent, records accurately, runs monthly A/R reports to ensure all payments due are collected.
Responsible for all residential leases and ensuring that all payments due are paid accurately and timely. Coordinates this work with Banner Staffing Services.
Prepares Monthly reporting as required.
Maintains portfolio rent rolls, ensuring up-to-date information and accurate reflection of lease information. Disseminates and communicates with end users regarding this information.
Tenant improvement allowance tracking and collection, coordinating with central accounting as well as development and construction.
Obtains certificates of insurance as required by the lease documents.
Serves as back-up to Property Leasing Analyst II for monthly rent payment upload.
May work on other department projects as required.
This position requires knowledge normally associated with completion of a Bachelors Degree in business administration, finance, or related area.
The position also requires skills and abilities typically attained with 2 to 3 years of experience in commercial real estate, property management or a related field. Must possess analytical skills, the ability to interpret commercial leases, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrated organizational skills. Must be detail oriented and able to process work quickly, accurately and with changing priorities.
Must be proficient with commonly used office software and have the ability to quickly develop proficiency with new software programs.
Commercial property management and experience with portfolio management software helpful.
Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
