We are currently seeking a positive, personable Leasing Agent to join our team Leasing Agents are the first impression of Uptown, working with prospective residents, both in-office and in the field, helping them find their new homes.

This is a full-time position starting at $17/hour, with eligibility for the awesome benefits listed below. Lease the greatest number of units in the shortest amount of time to maximize rental rates through showing apartments and adequate follow up techniques Guide prospects through on-site tours Serve as first point of contact for prospects, providing the highest quality of customer service Act as the main point of contact for all prospective residents regarding general property information Work closely with the Property Management Team to give prospective residents accurate information Collaborate with the Property Management Team to meet the needs of the prospect & maximize occupancy Driving company vehicle or walking to multiple sites throughout the day Supporting fleet management as needed Leasing Agent Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license & clean driving record Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment A positive attitude and willingness to encourage co-workers Excellent customer service skills Ability to communicate professionally and effectively Strong problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Schedule flexibility with weekend hours Professional appearance Sales experience preferred Apply today and join our Uptown Team See below for the full job description: JOB SUMMARY:

The Leasing Agent is responsible for driving the sales and leasing success of Uptown Rental Properties to maximize rental rates and occupancy levels through high-quality, well informed and positive prospect resident interactions. Key Performance Objectives in order of priority include: Meeting prospective residents at properties to conduct property showings in a professional manner to the industry leading standards of Uptown Rental Properties. 40% Use leads generated by Uptown Rental Properties website and other internet listing services to create prospects and schedule tours of apartments or houses. 20% Manage your prospect pipeline by effectively communicating and following up with prospects throughout the apartment search and leasing process. 20% Note:

Twenty percent of time is reserved for ancillary activities, interruptions, and unplanned events. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Interpersonal Responsibilities Works in collaboration with Property Manager and Assistant Property Managers to give prospective residents well informed, accurate information throughout the leasing process.

Works with other leasing team members to ensure efficient scheduling of showings and optimize time in the field. Conducts all property showings in a professional manner to the industry leading standards of Uptown Rental Properties. Listens to prospective residents to identify their needs and works with them to find their ideal location.

Effectively communicates the benefits of properties managed by Uptown. Acts as main points of contact for prospective residents and maintains proactive communication including confirmation of appointments and regular follow up to showings. Facilitates application process with prospective residents.

Provides direct feedback to Property Managers regarding rental rates, unit conditions, market dynamics, CapEx etc. Collaborates with other Leasing Agents and Property Management to cross-sell properties within Uptown Rental Properties portfolio to meet the needs of prospects and maximize company-wide occupancy rates. Seeks recommendation and approval from Property Managers when changes to lease terms or possible leasing specials may be necessary in order to meet the needs of prospective residents.

Operational Responsibilities Generates prospects from leads that are created through our website and other third party listing services. Ensures all leasing cards or other showing materials are completed and present for prospective residents prior to conducting showings. Creates work orders for maintenance issues seen at properties when conducting property showings, escalating high priority issues to Management when necessary.

Records prospect and showing information/data within the property management software Yardi. Generates showing reports that assist with follow up and tracking closing ratios. Manages own prospect pipeline according to the Uptown Rental Properties Sales / Leasing Process.

Organizational Responsibilities Engages with students of surrounding universities and educate them about Uptown Rental Properties as an off campus option.
