Leasing Agent - Burnsville

Tesoro Group is seeking an experience Leasing Agent to join one of our long-term client's their team at one of their properties in Burnsville, MN (55306). The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months' experience in full cycle leasing - new leases and renewals. This role will be Tuesday- Saturday. This is a contracted role 30-60 days, but does have the potential to go long-term/permanent with the right candidate.

This role will be working with a mixed market rate/affordable housing building that was built in 1989, 314 Units, 3 stories.

Salary:
targeting $21-$22/hour. This is a contracted role 30-60 days, but does have the potential to go long-term/permanent with the right candidate.

Schedule: Tuesday through Saturday- 9AM - 6PM Tues-Friday and Saturday is 10AM - 4PM.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:

• Ensure the model apartments and target apartments are ready for show and maintaining work areas, common areas and office in a clean and orderly manner
• Complete lease form or agreement and collect rental deposit
• Market the property effectively by answering questions, conducting tours, and promoting community amenities
• Have a thorough knowledge of lease terms, specifications and all community policies
• Keep updated informational material and distribute to local businesses, apartment locators, etc.
• Regular “shopping” of competitive properties and remaining knowledgeable of market conditions
• Conduct out-reach marketing at least once per week
• Develop and maintain an on-going resident retention program under direction of Community Manager
• Maintain all resident and property files
• Courteous and efficient handling of resident requests and complaints
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times

Qualifications and Requirements:

• 6 months experience in Property leasing - full cycle.
• Ability to meet and exceed sales objectives
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Excellent follow up skills via email and phone
• Yardi experience a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Be able to pass a Kari Koskinen background check.
