VIEW JOBS 9/18/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-12-17T00:00 Job Description: Scope of Position: Responsible for coordinating the Central Receiving function for all Jack Daniel's facilities. Must facilitate the delivery, receipt, documentation and dispatching of all materials to their final destination. Responsible for the receipt and direction of over 25-truckloads of glass for each day's bottling production needs. Perform all SAP transactions in support of the stated actions. Responsible for the setup and documentation of all processes and procedures needed to perform the task of Central Receiving. Maintenance of records showing flow and volume of material movements. Maintain MBSO processes and procedures as they relate to bottling materials. Perform as back up on receiving functions for Jack Daniel's Bottling. Serve as backup to Receiving Supervisor. Basic Function: Provides coordination of all activities related to the Central Receiving function for Jack Daniels. Performs all tasks to maintain high quality services to the entire facility. Performs dispatching of materials to locations as required. Job Responsibilities: Coordinate delivery and receipt of raw materials. Perform all related SAP transactions to facilitate the timely receipt and payment of materials. Oversees the receipt and delivery of all packages ordered by various departments. Responsible for 1 full time employee who delivers packages/mail to each department. Coordinate with forklift operators and material handlers, the delivery and location to store all Raw Materials for bottling production needs. Manage the storage and turnover of raw materials in Receiving Warehouse. Monitor bottling schedule for changes, adjust deliveries as needed, and communicate changes to Receiving personnel. Track raw materials inventories and communicate inventory deficiencies to team members. Coordinate tracking of glass and closures to comply with HACCP. Train all Receiving employees on Material Trace-ability hardware and software. Maintain all truck and forklift inspection documentation and coordinate with maintenance for service and repairs. Create Bills of Lading, shipping labels, proformas, letters of origin, etc. for outbound deliveries. Coordinate with Trex to recycle bales of plastic. Function as primary contact for pickup and delivery of materials, mail pickup and delivery, and material movements between facilities. Serve as team leader for Sanitation in Receiving department. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports to management. Ensure glass releases are timely and adequate to meet the needs of production. Coordinate the transport and delivery of off-site materials to JD, including Special Packaging requirements. Assist the Receiving Supervisor in training new personnel, employee forklift certification, and CDL test preparation. Must Requirements (including any physical requirements): Bachelor's degree plus 3 years manufacturing related experience; or Associates degree plus 6 years related experience; or 10 years related education/experience combination. Strong interpersonal relations skills as they relate to all levels within the company. Must possess high level of professional integrity and ethical behavior. Proficient in computer skills, such as Material Trace-ability, Workday, Google platforms, and Microsoft Office products. Demonstrated oral /written communication skills. Extensive computer hardware and software experience. Ability to independently perform duties with minimal supervision. Must have or be willing to obtain a forklift license. Must have or be willing to obtain a Commercial Driver's License. Ability to work flexible shifts throughout the week, including weekends, holidays, and overtime. Preferred Requirements: Material Receiving or Materials Handling experience.
