U.S. Physical Therapy, Inc. ("USPh"), which was founded in 1990, is a publicly held company which operates 580+ outpatient physical and/or occupational therapy clinics in 42 states. The Company's clinics provide post-operative care for a variety of orthopedic-related disorders and sports-related injuries, treatment for neurologically-related injuries, rehabilitation of injured workers and preventative care. We are currently searching for a Lease Administrator to join our growing and exciting company. The Lease Administrator is a position requiring strong negotiation skills, the highest level of integrity, familiarity with commercial real estate and lease terminology, and experience with dealing with landlords and agents.
Gain and maintain familiarity with entire portfolio of leases managed, which is in excess of 600 commercial real estate leases spread across 42 states.
Assist in developing, maintaining, and managing lease management software, ensuring that information input into the system is accurate, completed and correct.
Develop familiarity with clinic partners and directors, and ensure that they are up to date on the status of their facility leases.
Ensure that Vice Presidents of Operations are informed of up-coming renewals, and that timely decisions are made and implemented.
Assume responsibility for a portion of the existing clinic lease portfolio, which will require familiarity with renewal dates, termination dates, and options for each lease in the portion assigned.
Assist with quarterly, Regional Real Estate meetings, which will review leases pending decisions over the ensuing 12 month period.
Maintain lines of communication with all Landlords in portion of lease portfolio assigned.
Coordinate with Lease Coordinator to ensure correct and up to date information is timely input in the lease management software system.
Maintain a log, and follow up on real estate commissions earned and due.
Other duties may be assigned
Commercial Property Management experience a must
3-5 years commercial leasing experience highly preferred
An active Texas Real Estate license is preferred and a Texas Brokers License would be a plus but neither is mandatory
Experience with Lease Management Software a must
Experience dealing with landlords
MS Word and Excel a must
Excellent customer service skills are needed
Must be detail oriented
Must be able to multi-task
