W2, Contract- Duration: 6-Month Contract potential of extension based on performance LOCATION: Chicago, IL (Hybrid-3 Days In Office & 2 Days Remote) Candidates must be local to Chicago JOB SUMMARY FOR LEASE ACCOUNTING ANALYST: Epitec is hiring a Lease Accounting Analyst to come on a hybrid schedule 3 days/week in Chicago, must be local.

Compensation: $30-$34/HR RESPONSIBILITIES FOR LEASE ACCOUNTING ANALYST: Maintain the lease notification business processes. Prepare audit packets for selected lease transactions noting the accounting implications.

Maintain lease payment schedules to ensure accuracy of fixed rent, percentage rent and CAM/Tax payments to landlords in accordance with the lease terms. Ensure compliance with SOX and company policies for assigned lease accounting business processes. Participate with ad-hoc requests and special projects.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR LEASE ACCOUNTING ANALYST: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Open to degrees in other areas subject to applicable experience.

At least 1 year of qualifying lease expense accounting work experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer experience focus. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand and present variances with accounts.

Computer proficiency in Adobe, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point. Knowledge of Oracle and TRIRIGA a plus. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR LEASE ACCOUNTING ANALYST:

Lease Accounting- 3-5 Years (At least 1 year of qualifying lease expense accounting work experience) MS Office 3-5 Years Computer proficiency in Adobe, Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Oracle-3-5 Years of Knowledge of Oracle and TRIRIGA a plus.
