Learning Product Owner
Enterprise Learning is looking for a passionate Product Owner to drive the product vision and optimize the learner experience for learning technologies at Capital One. The Entreprise Learning Technology team manages a portfolio of technologies that include the Learning Management System (LMS), the Learning Experience Platform (LXP), virtual classroom technologies, classroom technologies, and other learning applications. As a member of the team you will be responsible for supporting Capital One's learning systems through configuration, testing, advocacy, and functionality, while consulting with business clients.
In this role you will create and communicate the product vision for the learning technology you own. You will be responsible for working from the customer backwards to make sure the product provides the optimal user experience. You will partner with vendors, HR Tech, business leaders, and learning stakeholders from across the organization to manage the product backlog and feature requests. In addition, the Associate who fills this role should have a focus on delivering efficient, reliable, resilient, scalable, and high performing solutions.
Identify new learning technologies based on customer and stakeholder needs
Assist in developing and communicating the product vision for learning technology
Collect and analyze data to create product roadmaps
Help with system configuration needs in partnership with HR Tech
Document processes for upgrades, including user acceptance testing and regression testing, as well as tracking system defects and enhancements
Partner with technology vendors to drive vendor roadmap in alignment with product vision and the product backlog
Provide support for unique product issues that are escalated to you and/or the vendor
Benchmark other companies to identify best practices
Proactive monitoring of system performance
Collaborate with other product owners to ensure integrated end-to-end experiences
Present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership
Communicate project statuses to key internal and external stakeholders
Associate's Degree or military experience
At least 2 years of experience working with a human resources technology or learning technology
At least 1 year of experience with data analysis
At least 1 year of experience working with Agile Development Methodology
Two years' experience as a product owner
Experience working within a training and development environment
Working knowledge of APIs
