Avid's Learning Partner program enables colleges, universities, and professional training organizations to train and certify students and professionals on Avid's industry-standard tools for music and audio production, as well as TV, film and video. We are at an exciting pivot point in the business and growing quickly, so we are looking for a Learning Partner Account Assistant to join our team.

The Learning Partner Account Specialist works with a team of program staff to ensure the success of Avid Learning Partners throughout North and South America. The Account Specialist provides administrative and clerical support such as corresponding with internal and external stakeholders, answering requests for information and support, coordinating meetings and events, and maintaining records in Avid's data management systems.

The Account Specialist works directly with customers and educators from across the region - so you are the face of Avid! A positive attitude, professional demeanor, and excellent communication skills are a must. Native Spanish-speaker preferred. Top candidates are also highly organized, intellectually curious, and able to work under tight deadlines and juggle multiple assignments simultaneously.

Note that since this position is supporting our Americas GEO, working hours will be on night shift (9:00pm

  • 5:00am or 12:00am

  • 9:00am).

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Support the ALP Manager Americas in administrative tasks related to recruiting, onboarding and supporting new and existing Learning Partners in the U.S., Canada and Latin America.

  • Liaise with Support, Operations and Finance departments to deliver outstanding customer experience for Avid's Learning Partner Community.

  • Proactively develop relationships with new Learning Partners, facilitating successful enrollment and onboarding (e.g. partner and instructor readiness). Solicit and receive feedback, input and ideas to share with program leadership.

  • Get creative, helping to produce new resources and experiences for students and Learning Partners, and helping to engage them through social media, events, and more.

  • Enter data and maintain accurate records of customer interactions using Avid's business management systems, including Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, etc. Prepare and collate data for reporting purposes on the ALP business across AMER, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Media Technology, and 3 years or more professional experience

  • A passion for Avid products and a desire to help users achieve success is critical

  • Excellent business communication skills. Bilingual, fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish

  • Team player, comfortable proactively engaging colleagues in other departments to build relationships while working remotely, and eager to learn and integrate into Avid's energetic culture.

  • Self-directed worker, comfortable working independently and collaborating with others

  • Detail-oriented, great at following through with an obsession with delighting customers through outstanding service.

  • In-depth working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required; experience with Salesforce ideal.

  • Foundational understanding of business and data analysis, comfortable generating reports for the intended purpose

  • Must be familiar with the digital media and entertainment markets that Avid is a part of, including having an awareness of production workflows and dominant tools. Better still if you also have a working knowledge of Avid Pro Tools, Media Composer and other Avid products.

  • Must have reliable, high-speed internet connection capable of supporting daily video conferencing and large file transfers.
