Your work falls into three primary categories:

Innovative Planning

  • Support design and implementation of IT's learning and development strategy to identify skill gaps and implement solutions that meet the organization's current and future needs

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key business partners, subject matter authorities, vendors and the corporate L&D team to drive instructional design and content development practices

  • Recommend learning solutions and learning modalities based on analysis of learning goals, organizational and technological constraints, and budget and schedule considerations.

  • Provide lifecycle support recommendations and documentation for learning solutions.

Team Management & Leadership

  • Lead and develop a small team of learning & development and organizational change professionals

  • Ensure team is operating in the most effective way possible and has the appropriate level of skills and capabilities to be successful

  • Understand what's outstanding about each team member and know how to capitalize on their strengths and find ways to upskill where gaps exist

Learning Management

  • Analyze and identify the training and development needs of employees

  • Identify key development needs by aligning data and analytics with strategic imperatives to achieve desired outcomes

  • Run end-to-end program operations including budget, program delivery, evaluation/feedback and measurement of business impact - reporting out to key partners

  • Keep advised of best-in-class and current trends and make recommendations to build a more impactful learning experience

  • Schedule, track and report on employee feedback and training attendance, modifying strategy to ensure continued learning adoption

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of related experience crafting strategy with complementary experience (e.g., technology curriculum development, graphic design, human-centered experience design) preferred

  • A strong portfolio of learning or human-centered design case studies

  • 3+ years of experience creating a learning strategy and curriculum based on learner needs, business needs, and modern learning theories and models

  • At least 3 years of experience designing blended learning experiences and touch points in digital and classroom settings

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, Master's degree in Learning Design, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field
