Your work falls into three primary categories:
Support design and implementation of IT's learning and development strategy to identify skill gaps and implement solutions that meet the organization's current and future needs
Build and maintain positive relationships with key business partners, subject matter authorities, vendors and the corporate L&D team to drive instructional design and content development practices
Recommend learning solutions and learning modalities based on analysis of learning goals, organizational and technological constraints, and budget and schedule considerations.
Provide lifecycle support recommendations and documentation for learning solutions.
Team Management & Leadership
Lead and develop a small team of learning & development and organizational change professionals
Ensure team is operating in the most effective way possible and has the appropriate level of skills and capabilities to be successful
Understand what's outstanding about each team member and know how to capitalize on their strengths and find ways to upskill where gaps exist
Analyze and identify the training and development needs of employees
Identify key development needs by aligning data and analytics with strategic imperatives to achieve desired outcomes
Run end-to-end program operations including budget, program delivery, evaluation/feedback and measurement of business impact - reporting out to key partners
Keep advised of best-in-class and current trends and make recommendations to build a more impactful learning experience
Schedule, track and report on employee feedback and training attendance, modifying strategy to ensure continued learning adoption
5+ years of related experience crafting strategy with complementary experience (e.g., technology curriculum development, graphic design, human-centered experience design) preferred
A strong portfolio of learning or human-centered design case studies
3+ years of experience creating a learning strategy and curriculum based on learner needs, business needs, and modern learning theories and models
At least 3 years of experience designing blended learning experiences and touch points in digital and classroom settings
Strong communication and presentation skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, Master's degree in Learning Design, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or related field
