Job Category

As a Learning and Development Operations Associate (Contract), you will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation and administration of our learning and development programs. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of training initiatives including new hire onboarding and contribute to enhancing our employees' skills and knowledge.

This is a contract position that starts as 3 months with a potential to convert to FT.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics for training sessions, workshops, webinars, and new hire onboarding, including scheduling, organizing materials, and participant communications.

  • Manage learning management system (LMS) operations, including user management, content uploading, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring alignment with employees' learning needs.

  • Track and analyze training metrics, feedback, and effectiveness of eLearning platforms to assess program effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all inquiries related to new hire onboarding, providing timely and informative responses to ensure a smooth transition for incoming employees.

  • Track and maintain comprehensive records of new hire tools and permissions across various roles within the company, ensuring adherence to company policies and security protocols.

  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail in all tasks and responsibilities, ensuring accuracy and precision in every aspect of new hire onboarding, training, and program maintenance.

  • Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in learning and development to incorporate innovative approaches into our learning programs.

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of learning and development programs, including training materials, presentations, and online courses, and collaborate with internal teams on content development and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Proven experience in learning and development, training coordination, or related roles.

  • Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and other training tools.

  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry and tracking.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.

  • Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

  • Certification in instructional design, training facilitation, or related areas is a plus.

  • Hybrid position: will need to report to and work from the Foster City office once a week

The expected hourly rate for this position is $25/hr. This hourly range is an estimate, and the actual hourly rate may vary based on the Company's compensation practices. The hourly rate may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in the Company's standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits.

Flexibility for occasional travel to different offices or events is essential to fulfill the duties of this role. This may include attending meetings, conferences, or training sessions, as well as collaborating with team members or partners in various locations. While travel requirements may vary, candidates should be prepared to engage in occasional travel as needed to support business objectives and foster professional relationships.
