About the Role

Working directly with the L&D lead P&C Reinsurance Underwriting in the Underwriting Excellence department, you will collaborate closely with the Swiss Re UW Academy and subject matter experts in the business.

You will support the L&D lead with successfully implementing the P&C Reinsurance Underwriting L&D strategy. For this you will work with a virtual team of experts across all lines of business.

Key Tasks:

• Support successful implementation of the P&C Reinsurance Underwriting L&D strategy, in close collaboration with the Swiss Re UW Academy team.

• Conduct regular training needs assessments through surveys, interviews, and performance data analysis to identify skills gaps and areas for improvement.

• Work with managers and employees to gather feedback on training effectiveness and areas for enhancement.

• Curate content with Subject Matter Experts in the business teams, applying new and modern learning methods.

• Efficiently manage and administer key training initiatives across P&C lines of business.

• Monitor, evaluate and report on relevant L&D initiatives and key performance indicators, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Foster a learning culture in P&C Underwriting in collaboration with the Underwriting Leadership and other Swiss Re functions.

• Maintain a strong network with relevant partners to leverage Swiss Re's learning capabilities and experience.

About You

We are looking for a highly collaborative and quick-learning individual with exceptional organizational and communication skills.

The ideal candidate takes ownership, drives initiatives and collaborates with stakeholders across various units and hierarchies, effectively prioritizing a diverse array of tasks and projects.

Essentials:

• You bring 3-5 years of experience in P&C Underwriting or an Underwriting-related function with a solid understanding of re/insurance principles and practices.

• Professional experience in Learning & Development is strongly desired.

• Experience in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training technologies is a plus.

• Strong ability to plan and efficiently administer multiple training initiatives, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely completion within scope and budget.

• Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights, reporting to diverse stakeholder groups across the organization.

• An affinity for communications is an asset.
