Job Description:

As a Learning Designer with Cerner you will design and develop content for blended learning and behavior change in a variety of applications. Develop instructional materials, leverage and build upon Cerner's learning methodology, architecture and appropriate tool sets. Work with a team of subject matter experts, multi-media developers and others to provide effective and engaging instruction that builds motivation and ability. Establish measurement plans for learning solution effectiveness using best practice methodologies aligned with performance and business outcomes.

Additional Information

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Education, Health Care Administration, related field, or equivalent and relevant work experience

  • At least 2 years of learning design or learning consultation work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of instructional design work experience

  • At least 1 year of Adobe Captivate and/or Camtasia work experience

Expectations:

  • Willing to travel up to 20% as necessary

  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to either the Kansas City Metro or Malvern, PA areas

  • Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position

The Interactive Designer will be able to seamlessly convert ideas into images, concepts and layouts. Preferred Qualifications/Functions * Moderate level of accomplishment in composition, typography, drawing, photography, and color theory.
