About the role:
This position is responsible for supporting the design and development of results-oriented training modules, programs, and meetings for the Urology and Pelvic Health sales force. Major job duties are the creation of training that integrates a variety of different media and methodologies, development and execution of sales training measurements of success, ROI, and methods for program improvements, and maintenance of existing training courses by researching, planning, and developing content and restructuring of the content as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborate with sales training team on the design and development of assigned sales training projects.
Work with Sales Training Managers (STM) & Marketing on various strategic projects, new product launches and special product promotions.
Partner with marketing, sales, and operations to identify training needs and recommend solutions.
Collaborates with internal subject matter experts and/or cross-functional teams for content development.
Work with STM to develop and implement training workshops as required for National Sales Meetings and other meetings that may be necessary as determined by the commercial teams.
Ensure all meeting and training materials meet legal requirements.
Facilitate and support Learning and Design processes and efforts required to meet Quality System, Compliance and Legal requirements
Assess and update sales training materials and teaching methods to continuously improve sales productivity.
Measures the effectiveness of learning programs. Designs, implements, and supports the development and use of learning assessment methodologies and tools
Develop training standards and measurement tools to measure performance following each training/meeting.
Write criterion-referenced performance-based objectives.
Collaborate with sales training team to recommend instructional strategies.
Support the setup and coordination of sales training classes.
Work with STMs to coordinate and streamline the training setup and execution of various classes & meetings.
Maintain Sales Training materials ensuring the content is up-to-date and approved
BA/BS in business discipline or equivalent experience required
2-4 years instructional design or technical writing experience
Learning Methodology, ADDIE preferred
Demonstrated experience with project management and project plan management
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently and in a team environment
Expert in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
Experience with Adobe suite of products, Brainshark, Articulate, Storyline, Captivate and other instructional technologies
Must be energetic, enthusiastic, determined and goal oriented
Proficient at multitasking
Experience working with virtual classroom tools; WebEx, Adobe Connect, Box
Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing shifting priorities
Demonstrate high attention to detail, and meet tight deadlines
Ability to quickly grasp technical/medical content
Energetic, enthusiastic, determined, and Results-oriented team player
