Glanbia Business ServicesLearning Business Partner- USA vacancy has arisen for a Learning Business Partner- US at Glanbia Business Services based in Aurora, Illinois. This is a permanent position and will report to the Business Systems Training Manager.This role will be responsible for the overall execution of our IT systems training activities across Glanbia business units in the US. The Learning Business Partner will work as part of the global learning team to ensure a consistent approach for all Business As Usual (BAU) IT systems training requirements and all assigned Project Training deliverables. The individual will contribute to the delivery of the GBS Learning Framework which defines our learning strategy. Providing leadership for the conception, design, development, deployment and maintenance of training solutions and material. They will support the Glanbia Power User network through the coordination and delivery of power user learning deliverables and a train the trainer programme.Key elements of the role * Regional responsibility for training activities including;*
  • Business as Usual systems requirements * Projects training requirements * Timely completion of GBS's broader training objectives * Responsible for successful delivery of train-the-trainer, and to oversee end user training, and training material creation, updates, and ongoing maintenance * Manage and participate in curriculum development, training program design, training materials development, * Establish project-specific training requirements and determine training scope * Coordinate and validate training activities with project/process teams and SMEs * Facilitate BAU user capabilities delivered through GBS Centres of Excellence- Key User Training, End User Training & Process Reviews * Identify, lead and integrate training resources (internal and where appropriate, external) within project work streams * Ensure completion of all learning management activity aspects of training (registration, training material housing, evaluations, etc.)* Manages BAU and project activities and tasks, monitors progress, and issues resolution * Use GBS methodology to evaluate training effectiveness including creation of metrics and their analysis * Raises awareness of the scheduled MS office curriculum and works with the business to define any ad hoc business specific requirements.Requirements for the roleQualifications * Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.Skills and experience * Experience leading the development and deployment of ERP or other IT systems training * Previous experience with SAP (or other large ERP systems), either in a key user/power user role or education role highly desirable * Two to five years of IT training and development experience * Training delivery experience * Previous content authoring tools/platform, learning management system experience a plus * Certificate in instructional design or other learning discipline a plus * Exceptional communication skills both written and oral * Strong relationship skills with the ability to influence and coach stakeholders at all levels of the organisation * Must be a team player and able to work with and through others * Proven ability to organize and maintain all aspects of training through all phases of a system/project implementation through multiple releases * Ability to work in a fast-paced global environmentCompetenciesGeneral/Leadership competencies * Personal Development * Dealing with Ambiguity * Problem Solving and Decision Quality * Collaboration * Values Diversity * Planning and Prioritisation * Business Insight * Customer Focus * Cultivates InnovationTechnical competencies * Instructional design, content development * Training Delivery * Project/program management: * Requirements planning & business case development * Stakeholder analysis * Change management * Vendor management * Budgetary management * Attention to detail and accuracyTravel * Approximately 30-40% (nationally)Are you someone who likes to make it happen, make it better and make it fun? Nature of Work: This is an exciting opportunity to join a human resources team in the University of Colorado | School of Medicine – Department of Pediatrics at the Anschutz Medical Campus. The Anschutz Medical Campus fosters collaboration among students, researchers and clinicians in one of the largest academic health centers in the nation. The Department of Pediatrics includes 25 sections, 18 programs and 3 affiliates with approximately 1,200 faculty and staff. The Department of Pediatrics is seeking applications for a Human Resources Business Partner. This full-time, University Staff (non-classified) position will serve as a resource to sections within the department by providing support, guidance and interpretation of Federal, State, University and School of Medicine laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures assuring compliance in a variety of human resources areas which includes recruitment, selection, onboarding, personnel management and payroll. The person in this role will not only work closely with the Business Managers and Section Heads of all of the sections, but will also work closely and collaboratively with the School of Medicine Human Resources and Faculty Affairs departments, University central HR and Employee Services. The ideal candidate for this position will be an energetic individual who is ready to help create change and be part of a group of professionals dedicated to collaborative approaches, relationship building, outstanding customer service and positive outcomes. Examples of Work Performed: * Complete the day-to-day recruitment activities for faculty and staff positions through the Human Capital Management (HCM) and CU Careers systems for a portfolio of Sections within the DOP. * Assist sections as needed in recruiting new talent by sourcing candidates, writing job descriptions/announcements, screening applicants, performing job analysis, selecting/developing assessment devices, and consulting with subject matter experts. * Participate in University Staff and Faculty searches. * Assist CHCO section Business Managers to create draft letter of offers for new hires. * Act as a liaison with the International Student and Scholar Services Office in order to coordinate International Visa Administration requests, including J-1, H-1B, O, TN, OPT and Permanent Resident applications for Faculty, Postdoctoral Fellows, Research Associate series and students that require work authorization. * Perform onboarding processes for new employees, including gathering required documents, coordinating IT access, I-9 forms, and badging. * Create transactions in the Human Capital Management (HCM) system related to compensation, position and personnel management. * Maintain accurate, timely and complete records ensuring compliance with Federal, State and University laws, regulations, policies and procedures. * Coordinate payroll entries for all employees within sections including leave, additional pay, leave payouts, and time collection for hourly staff. * Approve payroll entries for monthly, biweekly and offcycle payrolls. * Manage FML, medical leave and leave of absence requests. * Prepare and maintain individual salary spreadsheets for faculty and staff. * Process funding allocations and payroll expense transfers as needed to ensure proper funding for all employees. * Assist supervisors with performance management process to ensure the process complies with appropriate University and School of Medicine policies and procedures * Serve as a resource on HR policies and procedures. * In collaboration with HR leadership in the Department, assist in the development of standard operating procedures and implementation of process improvement initiatives. * Assist with data collection and data entry for semi-annual salary setting process. * Manage Person of Interest records, sponsored user requests and IT access for faculty and staff. * Perform other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned.
